Dabico added Aero and Seaport passenger boarding bridges (PBB) to its portfolio through the acquisition of Dabico A-Bridge and Dabico FMT in January 2023. Both these companies have been important players in the world market for Gate Support Systems since the 1970s.
Dabico A-Bridge focuses on Aircraft Bridges and are the pioneers in Renewed PBBs that help Airports achieve their sustainability targets and reduce costs by up to 40% (compared to new PBBs) and are the sole owners of the DEW Bridge IP. Dabico FMT, founded in 1963, has been at the forefront of serving Airports & Seaports in Europe and throughout the world with boarding bridge solutions.
Our Wide Range Of Airport Bridges
Mobile Telescopic Bridge
The Mobile Telescopic Bridge (MTB) was developed in 1992 to simplify operations and lower maintenance costs for the airport operator, with a hydraulic lift system for maximum safety and availability in all environments.
A380 Upper Deck Service
MTBs are well suited for upper deck service by their rigid structural design and optional Dual Drive Bogie System, equipped with a Safety Floor as standard.
Dual Boarding Bridge System
MTBs are well suited for installation at airport stands with two or three Passenger Boarding Bridges with an advanced electronic anti-collision system.
Nose-Loader Bridge
Continuously developed since the first installation in 1972, consisting of a telescopic tunnel extending to connect with the aircraft door, elevated by a hydraulic cylinder.
T-Bridge
Developed in the mid-1970s for airport stands where geometric conditions don't allow Nose-Loader bridges, with an always-horizontal telescopic section for convenient passenger access.
Over-The-Wing Bridge
Originally developed at the end of the 1980s for DC-9 and MD-80 aircraft, reducing turnaround time by about 50%, connecting to the aft door as a complement to the front door bridge.
Commuter Bridge
Provides passengers with a weather-protected walkway from the terminal building to the stair of a commuter aircraft, allowing power-in-power-out parking.
Seaport Bridges
Dabico also offers Mobile Elevating Gangways, Mobile Telescopic Bridges, Fixed Telescopic Bridges, and Fixed Walkways for ferry and cruise ship terminals worldwide (see the Marine & Seaport application page for full details on each type).
